This describes what AskAistro collects, where it goes, and what you can remove. It covers the website and the mobile apps, which share one account and one server. It describes what is built, not what we might do later.
What we collect
- Birth details — your date of birth, your time of birth if you give one, and your birth place, including its latitude, longitude and timezone. A chart cannot be calculated without these.
- Your questions and the answers you were given.
- If you sign in with Google — your email address, your name and your profile picture. Nothing else from your Google account. We never see your Google password.
- Feedback, if you send any.
What we do not collect
There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking. The mobile apps request no device permissions and contain no advertising or analytics SDK. We do not collect your contacts, your location, your photos or your microphone.
Where it goes
- Our own server holds your account, your birth details, your charts and your readings. Charts are computed there; nothing leaves for that step.
- City search is answered from a dataset stored on our server. Your search text is not sent to any outside geocoding service.
- A language-model provider — currently Eden AI or OpenRouter — receives, for each reading, the question you typed and the chart positions the answer is derived from. It does not receive your name, your email, or your date, time and place of birth. This is how the reading is written, and it is the only point at which anything about your chart leaves our infrastructure.
- Google, only when you choose to sign in with it, to verify that your sign-in is genuine.
What is kept on your device
In the mobile apps, your birth details and your sign-in token are held in the platform's encrypted store — the Keychain on iOS, the Keystore on Android — and not in ordinary app storage. On the website, a session cookie identifies you; it is HTTP-only, so page scripts cannot read it.
Birth details are never placed in a web address, a shared link, or a log.
Shared readings
If you choose to share a reading, that one reading becomes readable by anyone holding its link, until you unshare it. Nothing else in your account is exposed by sharing, and nothing is shared unless you ask for it.
Removing it
You can delete your account at any time — in the mobile apps, under You → Delete my account. Your account, your birth details, your charts and every reading are erased from the server. It is immediate and cannot be undone. Feedback you sent is kept without you attached to it.
Signing out leaves your account intact.
How long we keep it
Your account and its readings are kept until you delete them. Sessions expire on their own.
Children
AskAistro is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top changes with it.
